Research and Write!

Well, its blog week!

The research and writing process for the Annotated Bibliography included a lot of reading, note taking and writing. The topic I chose was the evolution of tattoos. I was happy that I had the ability to pick from a list of topics. This made the process a lot simplier for myself and took some of the stress out of this project. One of the things that I learned from my research is that there is a custom of tatooing women at puberty in some cultures. At first I wasn't sure there would be any signifigant reason for doing that. However, according to Hambly, this is done to help guard against mysterious dangers that women are exposed too at this age. Something that I learned about myself is I am  not a fan of using shows as a source for this topic. I started watching the show I picked and I totally got lost in it and forgot I needed to take notes to get a direct quote.

This is the source I found my information from!

Hambly, Wilfrid Dyson. The History of Tattooing. Dover Publications, 2009. https://books.google.com/books
